Masked British rapper Dide released his debut single Thrill in April 2023 and has since sparked viral speculation after claiming to be a Premier League footballer.

In September, with his identity still unknown, he released his eight track EP, Who Is Dide?, giving an insight into ‘Dide the artist, Dide the human, and Dide the footballer’. After reaching ten million digital streams late last year, he thanked fans on Instagram, claiming he was using his music to ‘connect and motivate people all over the world’ and ‘paint the picture of the lives we’re living as professional footballers and as human beings’.
